The start of term staff INSET focused on two rather different areas, but in their own way each to do with fire fighting! The whole staff gathered to hear how not start fires, and how to respond should we be unlucky enough to encounter one. It ended with a spectacular outdoor demonstration! And after coffee the teaching staff went into more reflective mood when we were led in a review of our pastoral care approaches by the nationally acclaimed trainer and speaker, Maggie Goldthorpe. A stimulating day, and a very positive start to our new term.
