A pupil from Calvi had a most successful morning today as Headmaster for the Day.
After an initial briefing and hand-over on the day’s programme with Mr Ward in the Headmaster’s Study, he went through the post and emails with his PA, Mrs Cason,
PICS: Touring the school site to check on the preparations for Prize Day and discussed plans with the Estates Staff.
Checking with Mario that the tree being planted on Prize Day was in the correct location.
The technicians arrive to put a new weather vane on the Centenary block and George, with Mr Kendall, Deputy Head and Head of Geography made sure they put it in the right place.
More decision making with Mrs Pullman, Chair of Friends as to where the Giant Chess set that has been donated by the Friends should be built.
Tasting session with Daniel Baldock, Chef in the Dining Room before lunch time.
"It was an incredible day. I really enjoyed eating doughnuts for lunch and having a tray to eat with the grown ups and especially enjoyed being a judge for the Year 4 cycle race. Thank you."
