Our Reception children visited Pizza Express as part of their topic about food.
On Monday 9th October, 16 girls from Year 3 to 6 took part in the Guildford High School Cross Country.
On Saturday 7th October the U10A Netball team played Claremont, coming away with a convincing 8-2 win.
Last Thursday, Year 3 enjoyed a Geography Trip to Painshill Park. The weather was kind to us which helped the pupils in their outdoor learning. This is what they had to say:
Last Tuesday four intrepid Year 5’s set off to Bradfield College to compete against their peers in the Annual prep school science competition. The team, Freddie P, Emily VS, Emma P and Zach K were both nervous and excited in equal measure at the task ahead.
As part of South Africa week, pupils across the school have enjoyed drawing pictures and creative writing based on The Rainbow Nation. Year 3 pupils learnt about South African fables in English, and wrote some of their own. Titles such as ‘How the Pony got its Trot’, ‘How the Sabre-Tooth Tiger got its Name’ and ‘How the Snail got its House’ were amongst our favourites, with each story containing the vital element of a moral.
