Activities & Clubs 06-07

The opportunities for extension and enrichment activities for our pupils at Feltonfleet are many and varied. The activities on offer on a daily basis reflect the wide ranging skill and interests of the staff and allow our pupils to explore areas of interests of their own that they might not other wise have an opportunity to experience.

This page is designed to give you a brief overview of what we have on offer. For more information please visit the pages of the various department who run the activities or contact the member of staff in charge.

Extra Curricular activities begin in Calvi House. Children in Year 1 and 2 may stay after the end of their school day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Recent activities have included Art, Chess, Board Games, Swimming and Origami. Please look at the Calvi House page for further detail or contact Mrs J. Preece (j.preece@feltonfleet.co.uk).

In Years 3 and 4 children are offered after school clubs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays as well as a Blue Peter Club for bus children Mondays to Thursdays and Tennis on Friday lunch times. Clubs include Art, Choir, Drama, Lego Robotics, Archery, Basketball, Football and Trampolining.

Children in Year 5 – 8 have an extended school day with a Prep session on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, and sports fixtures on Wednesdays.

On Mondays children can chose to learn Chess, Judo (also Saturday afternoons) or Football coached by Chelsea football club.

During the school day on Thursdays every child in Years 5 to 8 participates in an hour long clubs session. Recent choices have included Archery, Basketball, Fencing, Golf, Boys Hockey, Trampolining, Squash, Tennis, Food Technology, Debating, Drama, General Knowledge, Greek, Fun Fashion design, Air Rifle and .22 shooting, Science, Art for Scholars, Beginners Spanish and Music Theory.
