Nearly New Uniform Shop
o We quality check all items for suitability for sale. All non-current uniform and any items deemed unsaleable (old, worn or faded, stained or ripped etc) will be passed to charity immediately. Items are only disposed of after careful consideration but unfortunately it is not possible to inform the owners or return the items. If you want to check whether we will sell something, please call at the shop during opening hours. o Please ensure that all items are clearly marked with your child's name. Any unnamed items will be considered a donation and if sold, the full amount retained by Friends of Feltonfleet. o Friends of Feltonfleet have a set pricing structure for all items, which is available on request. This is regularly updated. o Sellers receive 75% of the value of goods sold for over £1.00. Any items sold for less than £1 will be deemed to be a donation. o Payment for goods sold, less commission of 25% paid to Friends of Feltonfleet, will be added to your school bill by the school accounts department. For children no longer at the school, payments are made twice a year or when you account reached £50, whichever is sooner. o If you are leaving the school and moving it is your responsibility to advise us of your change of address. o Friends of Feltonfleet or their volunteers take no responsibility for any items held in the shop. Items are left entirely at the owner's risk.
Buying from the Shop
o We have regular sales, every half term, the dates of which are in the school calendar and newsletter (usual first Thursday back). The shop will not be open in between times. o The total value of goods bought from the shop must be signed for by a parent and a debit is added to the next school bill for settlement. Payment by cheque may be arranged if necessary. Cash is not accepted. o No goods may leave the shop until they are fully paid / signed for. We cannot 'hold' items for people, nor can we exchange or take back items, although they can be resold for the buyer. |
