RS is the study of the major Religions of the world - of their practices and beliefs. During their time at Feltonfleet the children will have the opportunity to study Christianity, Islam, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Sikhism. They will have the opportunity to learn about the different religions from looking at pictures, texts and videos and also from visits and visiting speakers. They will be challenged to develop an understanding and empathy for the beliefs of others whilst examining and exploring their own spirituality or faith.
In Personal and Social, Health Education & Citizenship (PSHE+C), the children explore a range or topics and issues to help them grow up confident and articulate in their world. From healthy eating, to crime and punishment, politics to relationships, PSHE+C gives children the time and space to explore what they think and why they think it! |
