In recent years Feltonfleet pupils have gained many sports scholarships and All-rounder scholarships to schools such as Millfield, Kelly College, Emmanuelle, St. Georges Weybridge, Bradfield, Wellington, Epsom College, Reeds School, Sherborne and City of London Freeman’s School.

We have had many successes in recent years. During the 2006/07 season our 1st XV only lost one match during their domestic season and reached the Semi Finals of the National Rugby Finals and our 1st VII won 3 out of 5 Tournaments entered in 2007. We have had major successes at the National Biathlon Championships over the last two years with a 2nd place finish for our U12 team and 2nd for Hugo Fleming individually. On another Athletic note, Hugo Fleming also qualified for the National Athletic championships in the 800M. We also compete at Judo where Daniel Porter finished 2nd in I.A.P.S finals and the National schools Finals at High Wycombe in 2007. We celebrate our boy’s success at our annual 1st XV Rugby Dinner which this year is being held at Esher Rugby Club.

The girls continue to do well at all levels throughout the school. We have had some excellent achievements in recent years. During the 2006/7 season the U13 Netball team have excelled themselves reaching the Surrey netball finals and also by reaching the finals stages in three other netball tournaments.

Our U13 Trampolining team of Emma Britton, Nicola Britton, Katherine Pilkington-Miksa and Gemma Pullman are currently national champions in both the British Schools and IAPS championships. One member of the team, Emma Britton currently holds the individual title in the U13 age group. Emma has also been selected to represent the U17 Great Britain squad in this discipline.

In addition to the more traditional games our girls have succeeded in many other sports. Sasha Morse recently made the National School Swimming finals and came second overall in the U13 50m freestyle. Two of our senior girls, Sasha and Georgia Morse qualified for the Modern Biathlon Championship Finals and both achieved personal bests. Our Athletics is another highlight with three senior girls, Katie Draper, Sasha Morse and Gaby Wright, qualifying for the National School Finals in Birmingham this year. We celebrate the girls success in an annual girls games dinner during the spring term.

Old boy Dominic Shabbo has been selected to represent England U19 in the recent U19 World cup. Another old boy Jack Williams has been selected to train with the GB swimming squad.

In Easter 2006, we embarked on our second co-ed tour to Barcelona taking 40 children on a rugby and hockey tour, which proved to be a massive success.
