Year Three, Spring Term

During the Spring Term, Year Three undertake a journey of interplanetary travel through our solar system.

Through comparison, the children will explore the relationships between the Sun, our Moon and the Earth itself. Their studies will lead them to understand how shadows are formed, why seasons occur and the basis for night and day. As young astronomers, they will also uncover some of our moon's secrets discovering the different phases of the moon through careful observation.
