The Junior Department > Outdoor Learning and Play Centre

The Junior School Outdoor Learning and Play Centre opened in September 2006. Here children in the Junior School (Years 3 and 4) have the opportunity to exploit a wealth of learning games and activities designed to promote healthy purposeful play whilst nurturing social interaction.

On offer are a number of specially designed 'Game Tables' offering traditional favourites like 'Noughts and Crosses', 'Chess' and 'Snakes and Ladders' while giant versions of 'Chess' and 'Connect 4' encourage team play and audience participation.

A decked stage area complete with tiered seating completes the centre offering children and teachers alike the opportunity to exploit good weather for outdoor drama recitals and performance poetry.

This unique learning centre was generously supported by The Friends of Feltonfleet. The centre was officially opened by Alison Pullman, Chair of the Friends of Feltonfleet on Tuesday 19th September 2006.
