Year Three

Our main aim in the early years is to build up children's confidence in understanding and using French as a spoken language. In Year Three, we use an interactive ICT-based language course entitled Petit Pont. The course features animated role play and enjoyable songs and contains a multitude of activities ranging from the simple to the genuinely challenging.

Year Four

In Year Four, the children are divided into three sets for more focused language work. We introduce vocabulary testing and start to develop writing skills in preparation for the senior school course.

Each year the children rehearse and perform a series of role-plays in French to packed audiences. Parents are invited and the aroma of fresh coffee coupled with croissants and pain au chocolat are served to truly create a Parisian ambiance.
