The Head Girl's End of Term Speech

Wow what a term! This week alone has been amazing. Congratulations everyone for making the Panto such a success. You all worked really well as a team and this team work was noted by the Ofsted Boarding Inspectors. We got an outstanding in everything, so well done everyone! The Boarding House is a great place to be – life is never dull with Pantos, pamper evenings, movie nights, Halloween and even softball.

I would like to say thank you to all the many people who make the Boarding House so great;

To Mr and Mrs Harnden, Reggie and of course baby Evie. Evie I hope you have enjoyed your first term at Feltonfleet. We love having you around and you were the cutest Bat ever at the Halloween party.

To Mr Richardson - another successful Panto. Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to dress up and have a lot of fun. The Panto has always been a favourite of mine.

To the Boarding House Tutors for, let us just say, making every evening different. You do a great job of keeping us out of trouble, or should I say out of the warm and cosy Boarding House, and away from the Wii.

To our matrons, Mrs Barnes and Miss Emery, for listening to our woes, looking after the sick and injured and providing us with important medical information like convincing me that chickenpox is caused by eating too many chickens!

To the catering staff, for making every meal a pleasure.

To the Gap students – we hope your parents approve of your new hairstyles – thank you for everything and have a safe journey home back to Australia.

Thank you to all the boarders for making the Boarding House such a great place to live during term time.

Let us hope that 2009 will be as much fun as 2008.
