Joining Us > Life at Feltonfleet > Senior School
The Senior School consists of Years 7 and 8, and enter the Senior School at 11. We are preparing for Common Entrance and 13+ exams for senior schools, and some of us will make up the Scholarship set for the scholarship exams in our last year. The work is harder this year, and we do more prep, but it is great knowing that you are moving towards the top of the School. There is masses to do, and whilst the sport is really good (we are very strong at many games), there are clubs and activities, and lots of chances to perform in concerts and plays.
Leadership is strongly encouraged, and although a few pupils will be chosen as Prefects, everyone gets involved in leadership training courses. There is the chance to go on tours and expeditions, some of them to countries like America, Australia, Italy and Malta. A trip recently went to Andalusia, and in the summer some of us travelled on a conservation tour to Botswana. The teaching is really good, but best of all are my friends. Feltonfleet is a really friendly place, and I am very happy here. I wish I could stay until I am eighteen.
