This is the Pre-prep, and is a separate building with its own gardens near the Main School. The children arrive when they are 3 into the Nursery, and will eventually leave Calvi at 7 when they enter the Junior Department of the Main School. Calvi is a very happy place, and because the pre-prep is small, the teachers know each child really well. Each class has lots of modern equipment, and the broad curriculum and stress on high standards of behaviour and manners makes sure that the children cope well with their move to the Main School. Some of the lessons, such as PE and DT are taught on the main site by teachers there, and others, like French and Music, are taught by specialists in Calvi. There are concerts, plays and productions, and even matches against other schools. Lunch is taken in the School Dining Hall.
