Feltonfleet is a special place. We are committed to fostering a small school atmosphere centred on family values. We do our very best to place the children first, to meet each child’s needs on an individual basis. They are continually encouraged to do their best, and are rewarded for it. We expect the children to see the best in each other, and to aspire to the highest possible personal standards.

Whether the child is three or thirteen, we recognise that competing is important, but so, too, is learning to co-operate with others. In that way, we believe that the School community allows every child to experience high levels of self-worth. Happy children, children whose achievements are valued, however humble they may be, will thrive and get much closer to fulfilling their potential. This is our goal.

Is Feltonfleet “an academic hothouse”?

Most definitely not! We set out to provide a first class all-round education for a broad range of talents and abilities. Scholars thrive, but so, too, do those with minor learning difficulties. And, all the children are busy and active in a wide range of extra-curricular activities. Being able to cope with the entry requirements of most senior schools at 11+ or 13+ is the baseline, but leaving Feltonfleet and entering them as well rounded, interested and enthusiastic young people is our goal.
