8JA has stretched me so I can show my full potential. The teachers are excellent and when you have a challenge they help you through it fully. It is a small class so that the teachers have even more time for everyone. Angus Franz

To me being in 8JA means having more responsibility and having a sense of pride. It also means having smaller classes and individual attention. It means work that is even more challenging. Fiona Bull

Being in 8JA is a great experience for me. At first it may be hard to settle in but when you do, you achieve a great deal. Max Rothman

8JA is a really good time if you work very hard. If you push yourself you are rewarded and your effort is put to good use. Benedict Roe

8JA has been a wonderful experience and a great challenge for me. I have enjoyed it thoroughly and I’d love to do it again. The teachers have been a great help and the effort has paid off. Marc Sadler

Being in 8JA is not only a big advantage for CE but it is filled with kind people who always look out for each other. Harry Ashbee

8JA has been a great experience so far and I can’t wait for the future. As it is a small class we all get a lot of attention and one on one time with the teachers. You get taught by some excellent teachers and they are always there if you are stuck. The work is challenging but it pays off in the long run. Ryan Baitz

8JA has been a very rewarding experience but has only come through commitment. With a small class you get more one to one teaching which is very beneficial.

Jack Stileman

8JA has been brilliant so far, I will be going to Cranleigh in September and have enjoyed the challenge. Will Heath

8JA is tough and challenging. However, if you put in the right amount of hard work and effort you are rewarded well. I find that you bond with people much better in Year 8 and you get more one to one attention and this helps your confidence.

Robbie Lewis

I think it is a real privilege to be in the scholarship set. There are less people so the teachers can focus more on you and you get to know all the people in the class really well. I will really miss the people from this class as they are fun and interesting.

Nicola Britton
