The aim of learning enrichment at Feltonfleet is to learn, think, and pursue interests with enthusiasm across and beyond the curriculum. We believe that where classroom life, is enriching, teaching and learning flourishes, and so do the children and those who teach them. We recognise that enrichment produces a higher level of thinking, and crosses other areas of the curriculum. We are determined that enlivened teaching should enrich all children in our school, irrespective of age, ability level and potential, subject, topic or activity. The community shares a belief that our celebration of all-roundedness is enriching and broadening, and enrichment extends from the classroom to drama, music, art, dance, games, clubs and activities, IT, private reading and use of the library, debate, leadership, exploration, expeditions, outdoor learning, and play in the grounds. |
